Teachers' Open House

Thursday 21 Mar - Thu 21 Mar
Price: Free

Our first Teacher’s Open House of the 2018/19 school year will be held in the stunning setting of Newstead Abbey. From Romantic poet Lord Byron through Medieval, Victorian and Gothic Revival, Nottinghamshire’s Newstead Abbey is a treasure trove of the rare, beautiful and historically significant.

Teacher’s Open House is a chance to hear about the latest work in your local museum service, have a look behind the scenes, meet our curators and have your say on future developments. Each event is also a chance for you to network and exchange ideas and approaches with other teachers. Hot drinks and cakes are served at each event and are open to all primary and secondary school teachers.

Admission and parking is free but space is limited so booking is essential. To book your place, or for more information, please email us at schools.programmes@nottinghamcity.gov.uk l or call us on 01158761420.
